Camille Pond
Camille Pond is the donor to the Stephen W. Pond Memorial Scholarship, which is memory of her late husband, Stephen Pond. Camille and Stephen met at Sacramento City College in 1962 and were married in 1964. They had three children and lived in Land Park area, in proximity to Sacramento City College, for the entirety of their marriage. They were married for 40 years before Stephen’s death from cancer in 2004.
Impact
This scholarship supports SCC students with a 3.0 GPA who have submitted a California Dream Act Application. Camille’s goal is to support students who have less access to resources and financial aid and to help make it possible for them to realize their dream of getting a college degree.
