Cesar Farok Pardede

Cesar Farok Pardede is a first-generation Indonesian-American and US Marine veteran who attended Sacramento City College from 2012-2014, and later went on to obtain a BS in Mathematics from UC Davis, and a MS in Statistics from CSU Fullerton. Since December 2021, he has been a data scientist at Visa. Prior to joining Visa, Cesar was a mathematician at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division. He credits his education at SCC as being foundational to his future success.

As a student at SCC and UC Davis, Cesar dealt with his own share of personal and financial hardships. He knows firsthand the difficulty of wanting to excel while struggling with things outside your control. Cesar created these scholarships to provide financial relief to dedicated students and enable them to focus on their studies, if only momentarily.
