Diane Pond

Brian Pond worked as a counselor at American River College for 25 years. He was passionate about helping students achieve their personal and educational goals. Brian was born and raised in Sacramento. He attended Sacramento City College and served in the Air Force Reserves for six years. Brian transferred to California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) and completed his bachelor’s degree in social science. He worked for Bank of America for a few years, then decided to return to CSUS to complete a master’s degree in counseling with a special emphasis in school counseling. Brian was preceded in death by his son in 2000 and is survived by his wife and stepson, three grandchildren, and a great granddaughter.
