Doug Winter and Kathryn Mayo
Doug Winter and Kathryn Mayo started the Savannah Winter Memorial Scholarship in memory of Doug’s daughter, Savannah.
Savannah Winter was a very cheerful, creative and happy little girl who loved swimming, hiking and animals. Like most seven-year-olds, she also loved rainbows, flowers and unicorns. She adored fashion and never missed an opportunity to draw or make something. She was fastidious about keeping her room clean and was passionate about “rainbow order.” She drew rainbows often and always made sure that all of the colors in her life, from clothes to toys, were organized in the same order as a rainbow.
She deeply loved her family and her friends, especially her big sibling Felix. An old soul, Savannah was profoundly sensitive and wanted those around her to be happy.
