Jack Chamberlain was a licensed Realtor since 1949. He established the first Credit Union for Sacramento Real Estate Board, which was second in the nation, in 1960. Jack was the Realtor Citizen of the year in 1960 (Sacramento), past President/owner of Intracoastal Investment & Mortgage Co. Director of the CA Real Estate Association, President of the Sacramento Real Estate Board in 1964, and holder of the CA Real Estate Association’s two highest education certificates. He was a Past Director of the Sacramento City-County Chamber of Commerce, President of the Sacramento Apartment Association in 1968, President of the Sacramento Better Business Bureau in 1969, and President of the Sacramento Mortgage Association in 1970. He was a native of Bellefontaine, Ohio. He passed away in Roseville on September 1, 2003, of heart-related problems, at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and grandchildren. Jack was a tremendously likable, warm and outgoing man, He had an enormous amount of energy, even after he retired, and kept busy with hobbies and golfing. He always had a joke or funny story to relate, and he truly liked people.
