Gardeners of the Grove

Gardeners of the Grove is a nonprofit 501(c3) club, organized in October of 2007. The organization focuses on garden related activities and involvement in community service projects. The club is affiliated with the National Garden Clubs, Inc., the Pacific Region Garden Clubs, Inc., the California Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Sacramento River Valley District. Our members are novice gardeners and master gardeners who enjoy gardening and have an interest in learning, sharing and receiving gardening advice.

We are currently active in the following community projects:
• Regents of the University of California Cooperative Extension, Master Gardener Program
• Cosumnes River College annual scholarship
• Penny Pines Reforestation Project benefiting California’s National Forests
• Sacramento Splash – Environmental education for children in public schooling from grades TK to 12
