ARC Robert Fritz Memorial
Dr. Robert Fritz was an active member of the Sacramento Community for over 36 years. His love of people and passion for life has led him into leadership in organizations including the Orangevale Rotary, National Speaker’s Association, Stanford Alumni Assocation, Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church and Choir, and the National Ski Patrol. Bob taught computer science at ARC for 35 years where he retired in January 2001. He also taught at UC Davis Extension. Bob grew up in Stockton. He joined the Air Force at age 17 where he played saxophone in the Air Force Band while stationed in Germany. He attended UC Berkeley where he met his wife of 39 years, Joyce. He earned his BS and teaching credential and went on to teach business at Santa Cruz High School. Bob went on to earn his Master’s Degree from Stanford University and a doctorate from the University of the Pacific.
