Ora Heaton is a former nurse who is paying it forward on behalf of all the nurses in her family. Below is a note for all the applicants -

To Whom It May Concern,

Congratulations for coming this far in your education and best wishes that you obtain your goals. My family and I are proud of your decision to go into the field of nursing. As a sec graduate, I was helped along my educational path with scholarships as I hope this helps you.

Nursing has many pathways and I am confident that you will find yours be it bedside, education, advaSincence practice or clinical. It is a career that is both rewarding spiritually as well as providing some financial stability. I have never regretted my career choice.

You will face some challenging times but try to remember the positive ones which will be much more numerous. I have encountered some wonderful people and situations in my career that I remember still. Your patients need you and you will be an incredibly valuable part of their health care experience.

Good luck to all your future endeavors. I hope no one in my family will need any nursing care but it is reassuring that there are people who still want to provide excellent care and are taking the steps to do so.
