Priscilla Alden Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century

The Priscilla Alden Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century has established a History Scholarship to aid in the education of a History major in understanding the history of the United States. The Priscilla Alden Chapter, named for a noted member of the Massachusetts Plymouth Colony of Pilgrims, is based in Sacramento and was chartered in 1965. In the greater Sacramento area, the Chapter aids in the preservation of historical records and sites, fosters interest in the colonial history of America, commemorates noble and heroic deeds of our ancestors and the founders of America, and aids in the education of youth, among other objectives.
In support of these objectives, the Priscilla Alden Chapter establishes this scholarship for a History student attending one of the Los Rios Colleges.
