Sacramento Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

A nurse and Past Regent of the Sacramento Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), Mrs. Jacqueline Coffroth requested that the Sacramento Chapter, NSDAR direct the $2,000 that she left in her estate to benefit students in the health field. In recognition of Mrs. Coffroth’s service as a nurse in the Sacramento region, the Sacramento Chapter determined to award two $1,000 scholarships, one for an RN student and one for a VN student at Sacramento City College

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political organization. Any woman 18 years old or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible to join.
