Student must have completed a minimum of 6 units in Geography with a grade of “C” or higher at the time of application. Students with financial need will receive preference. Student must write a minimum 300-word essay that answers the following questions: a)Why should you be awarded this scholarship? b) To what use will you put the funds if you are selected as the recipient? One letter of recommendation required.

- This scholarship requires the student to have completed 6 units in Geography at time of application. Please upload a transcript that shows you have met this requirement.
- Please provide the name and email address of someone who can provide a recommendation letter for you. They will receive a link to our recommendation form. A professor, high school teacher, or academic counselor are the best sources for letters of recommendation, and you should ask them in person. The person you are asking may have many students with your name, or not remember who you are unless you ask them in person. Letters from employers and volunteer organizations will also be considered. Letters from family members will not be considered.
