The Building Bridges in Community Scholarship is awarded to a student that exemplifies service to the Greater Sacramento community. Recipients should demonstrate their commitment to volunteerism, community service and/or civic engagement through their participation in and involvement with community-based organizations (e.g. faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, etc.). Recipients are required to submit a short essay.
