1) Preference given to a re-entry student who has returned to college after an absence; 2) Must submit online a statement, 500 words or less, explain what events occurred that made the student decide to return to college, what career goals their education will accomplish, and how the scholarship will benefit the student; 3) Must have a declared major in Fire Technology, Gerontology, Nursing & Allied Health, or Paramedic/EMT
